One-bedroom apartment at second floor ( no lift) recently restored and warmly redecorated to make the most of the spaces and the double-height.
The apartment opens onto the day area with a fully fitted open plan kitchenette. Its furnished with a table for 4, a sofa and a flat tv. Complete the day area the loft with extra sofa bed or where can relax after a long day touring.
 The complete bathroom is decorated with white and cream mosaic tiles; it is fitted with a walk-in shower.
The apartment has fair oak flooring and high-end finishes, such as air conditioning, independent heating, and sound-proofed, insulated windows and doors.
The Duomo and the other monuments are about a 15 minutes walk. At the end of your day come back to Oltrarno , which is much less touristy than other parts of the city and experience the real Florence.

DESCRIPTION OF THE INTERNAL ENVIRONMENTS

Suite Medici Loft is an apartment of about 110 square meters on one level.

The apartment is on the first floor of a historic building in the historic center of the city in Via dei Medici 2 but no problem, you will not have to climb the stairs as it is served by a lift and in addition it is equipped with air conditioning in all its rooms. I put all my attention to details, spaces, furnishings to make my apartment your ideal holiday home for your stay in Florence.

LIVING AREA

The living area consists of a large living room with a dining table to enjoy some intimate and private dinner, a comfortable three-seater sofa and two Florentine-style armchairs in the center, satellite TV, DVD player, and a large wooden dining table solid chest-decorated benches and chairs for 12 seats; a small staircase leads to a mezzanine decorated in wood with a sofa in Florentine embroidery which, if necessary, can become a sofa bed. In case you need to work during your stay here you will also find a comfortable study corner set up with a desk / desk, comfortable chair, table with printer, slippers for multi electrical outlets, cables and adapters, portable and folding laptop table that you can use for desk, bed, sofa or armchair, lamp with adjustable light and external monitor (24'')  at your disposal. If you open the retractable glass door with typical Florentine decorations you will find the fully equipped kitchen fully equipped with a 4-burner hob, microwave oven, electric oven, fridge with freezer, dishwasher, American coffee machine and mocha coffee maker, griddle electric, dishes and utensils, electric kettle.

SLEEPING AREA

In the hallway that starts from the living room you can access the first of the three bedrooms which has two separate single beds 90x190 cm., Wardrobe drawer, bedside tables with light point and large tapestry, ideal for children. Next to the bedroom you will find the first bathroom with sanitary ware, sink, shower cubicle and hairdryer.
In the sleeping area you will find 2 double bedrooms with mezzanines furnished as delightful sitting rooms and wardrobes and the second bathroom with sanitary ware, sink, shower cubicle and hairdryer.
When you are at home, you will feel as if you are breathing and feeling the authentic Tuscan charm and dream style of this beautiful city, Florence.
Only 2 windows in the living room and kitchen are on via de 'Medici, the bedroom and bathroom windows are on a very quiet internal courtyard so you won't be disturbed by noise and noise at night.
For the delivery of the keys I will be there personally or if it is not possible I will send one of my representatives who will show you the house in all its details and answer all your questions; I myself will always be at your disposal if you need it both before and during and after your stay for any need you may have.

INTERNET
the apartment is served by a fast and free broadband wifi connection with 44 (real) Mbps downloads and 20 Mbps uploads.
The router is in the apartment and therefore speed is guaranteed.

AIR CONDITIONING AND HEATING
The apartment has air conditioning in all rooms that you can control independently with a remote control
There is also central heating.
In the summer I also provide a standing fan.
As a result, you will feel comfortable whatever your expectations are.

CHILDREN
Children are welcome and we can provide one or two cots on request

SENIORS
The apartment is very comfortable even for the elderly as there are no stairs to climb but a comfortable lift takes you directly in front of the entrance door of the apartment

PARKING AREA
the apartment does not have private parking but we have an agreement with a public garage which is located 600 meters from the house within the ZTL which offers rates from 28 to 30 euros per night depending on the type of car. If you choose this solution you can enter the limited traffic area directly with your car as the parking fee also includes the ticket.
if instead you want a cheaper solution you can choose one of the many public garages outside the limited traffic zone that offer rates between 12 and 15 euros per night and in this case, however, you cannot cross the threshold of the cameras with your car.

NOISE
the bedroom windows overlook an internal courtyard and are therefore very quiet both during the day and at night and you are not disturbed by the noise of traffic or premises
Doors and windows are of good quality.
You will sleep very well!

PRIVACY AND SECURITY
There is a fire extinguisher and a first aid kit.

The location is so central that you can easily get back home any time of the day for a quick rest or a bite and go out again to visit this magnificent city.

It is also the perfect base for a day trip to Siena, Pisa, Lucca, Bologna. Even Rome, Venice and Milan are just a couple of hours away thanks to the high speed train that stops in Santa Maria Novella Train Station.

I'll take care of contacting guests one week before their arrival in order to better organize their hospitality. I give everyone a map of the city and all the necessary information to better enjoy the apartment and the city. That said, I want to emphasize that I am always available for any request of my guests, to help them during their stay in Florence.

The palace is located within the ZTL zone of Florence which prohibits driving or parking without residency permits. If you are travelling by car, I would recommend you to park in one of the private garages in the centre (the nearest to the apartment is "Garage S.Orsola", just 30 meters away) and obtain a temporary access permit. Upon arrival at the garage,they will note the vehicle’s number plate and forward it to the appropriate police headquarters.
